Rooftop Christmas market Christmas in the Clouds

Unique ambience on the Office Tower

An outstanding customer event took place on the roof of an imposing office tower in the heart of Frankfurt. Our DEKHALU team was commissioned to plan and execute a Christmas party for around 100 people, which was characterized by a cozy, wintery Christmas market ambience.

Logistical masterpiece on the roof terrace

The special challenge of this event lay in the location itself: the 13th floor of an office tower. The logistics of getting all the equipment to the 13th floor via an elevator, setting it up and dismantling it again in the shortest possible time was a masterstroke by our team. This unique event provided an incomparable backdrop and made the Christmas market an unforgettable experience.

We at DEKHALU are proud of this exciting project and the opportunity to fully impress our guests with our full-service concept. Contact us via our contact form to plan your own unforgettable event. We look forward to working with you and creating more unforgettable experiences.

Culinary highlights and a variety of drinks

The focus was on culinary delights. Our unique offering ranged from homemade mulled wine to delicious children's punch for our younger guests. True to DEKHALU's style, we enriched the offer with a non-alcoholic mandarin-cinnamon punch and other warm drinks. Despite the icy temperatures, we spoiled our guests with an oriental lentil soup and homemade pumpkin dumplings in wild mushroom cream. Of course, the traditional Christmas market sausage from our in-house butcher's shop was also a must, rounded off with a sweet live cooking finale: plucked Kaiserschmarren from the giant cast iron pan, served with vanilla tonka whipped cream and organic apple sauce. These elements contributed significantly to the lively atmosphere and delighted guests of all ages.

We can really only say good things about the Dekhalu team. From the first contact to the realization of the event, the communication was simple and professional. All our wishes were taken into account and a perfect solution was found for everything! During set-up and dismantling, everyone from the chef to the cook really pitched in and showed team spirit.
We were absolutely delighted with how quickly and smoothly the set-up and dismantling went. The next day it looked as if nothing had ever happened. The food was also delicious without exception. We had little Christmas market stalls where you could indulge in sweet and savory treats. The Dekhalu team was always in a good mood and provided us with top service. With this in mind, thank you very much!
This will certainly not be the last event we plan with them :-)

Culinary birthday party

But a birthday can also be a highlight in life, thought our customer on his 60th birthday and commissioned our team as a full-service partner to plan and execute his unforgettable party. Our kitchen and service team provided the culinary accompaniment for around 60 guests throughout the evening in the host's private premises. The kitchen was quickly transformed into a live cooking station and provided plenty of entertainment and stimulating exchanges with our chefs.

Over the course of the evening, we served eleven different small finger food and warm gable food creations from the kitchen. We started with four different starters as a flying buffet, as we were working with a mixed seating arrangement of standing and sitting furniture for our guests. There was a choice of beef tartare, stuffed sisho leaf with lime-coconut prawn and mango-mustard chutney, sweet potato cake pops with chorizo jam and bruschetta classico. Our guests weren't spoiled for choice, as these were appetizers, they could taste their way through the entire selection and still have room for the next delicious courses.

We continued with the main course selection on cocktail plates, stuffed pasta from our partner Manufaktur with hazelnut gremolata, cod on celeriac and potato mousseline, Kikok chicken with mustard butter glaze on toasted brioche with cinnamon chanterelle aioli and roast beef on potato and porcini mushroom puree with sautéed Brussels sprouts and jus.

In addition, our bartender provided entertainment at the bar, which we had set up in the living room, creating cocktails and unusual drinks for the guests. The delicious finale consisted of a vanilla tonka mousse, classic tiramisu and a cheesecake with quince crumble. Anyone who still had room for a snack at midnight was able to pick up a delicious portion of homemade Taunuswild currywurst from our chefs.

This balanced, culinary journey left nothing to be desired and was met with great enthusiasm by our guests and the host. After the extensive culinary feast, the guests ended the party on the dance floor.

Boho wedding meets Art Nouveau architecture

What woman wouldn't want to be a princess and get married in a dream setting, in the garden of a villa built in the style of her youth?

This special day will be an unforgettable one for the bride and groom of this wedding and the almost 100 guests, as well as for us. In the beautiful garden of the Christoph-Georg-Lichtenberghaus in Darmstadt, they said "I do" in a private, free wedding ceremony in the early afternoon in bright sunshine and wonderfully warm temperatures. With popping corks, all the guests were welcomed by us with a refreshing glass of sparkling wine and toasted the newlyweds together. While the guests were provided with cool drinks from our bar and the service team, the kitchen team started the fire and soon served the hungry guests succulent flank steaks of pasture-fed beef with rosemary jus and carved corn-fed poulard in a spicy marinade from the grill. A variety of homemade dips and a generous selection of bread awaited the guests at the lovingly decorated, long table. In addition to our grill station, the matching side dishes could not be missing. From roasted potato wedges with olive oil and sea salt to warm seasonal vegetables and fresh salads such as lemon couscous salad and Italian pasta salad with sun-dried tomatoes, as well as a feta and watermelon salad with pine nut and mint vinaigrette. The various toppings such as the homemade chutney, the pickled vegetable jars and our spicy chimichurri crowned this extensive selection of dishes and provided a harmonious basis for the dessert that followed. Dark chocolate mousse made from Fairtrade chocolate, organic cashew cream with pomegranate and mint and a vanilla tonka cream rounded off this culinary feast in the evening, under the fairy lights of the couple's custom-built pavilion, before all guests made their way to the dance floor inside the villa and to the bar, happy and satiated.

A fabulous team! DEKHALU did the catering for our wedding this summer. The planning was relaxed and very flexible. Even when our location had last-minute restrictions, Khalid was very committed to finding an alternative solution. The prices are incredibly fair, the food/menu and its quality was outstanding and the team was very attentive during the event and regularly asked us if everything was good and if we needed anything. In addition, DEKHALU has incredibly beautiful equipment in boho and industrial style, which rounded off our location wonderfully. Thank you so much for this unforgettable day!

Wedding between field and meadow a midsummer fairy tale

Between field and meadow, where the hare says goodnight to the hedgehog, our bridal couple said "I do" in their own garden and we were able to be there with our creative creations. In the beautiful garden, under a lovingly designed wooden carport, we were able to spoil the wedding party of 110 people with an extensive menu consisting of live cooking and a barbecue buffet. Our gourmet trays kicked off the gourmet journey. With a selection of different dips and antipasti in jars, as well as fresh organic bread, the specially made trays served as a wonderful basis for the courses to come.

The wedding party then moved on to our live cooking and BBQ station. In addition to aromatic beef briquettes of pasture-raised beef and free-range chicken with grilled thyme lemon butter, linguine from the Parmesan loaf, stuffed pointed peppers with a mushroom and Parmesan filling, sweet potato curry with grapes and prunes, the guests were treated to countless fresh salads such as our homemade pointed cabbage coleslaw or fresh leaf salad with feta, fig and caramelized nuts. The pineapple fried in paprika oil and the homemade mango and paprika chutney provided a taste explosion. The culinary finale was our three dessert glasses consisting of a cheesecake cream with blackberry crumble, a macadamia mousse with lavender flowers and salted caramel chip and a dark chocolate mousse made from organic chocolate with raspberries and mint coulis. After this extensive menu, the bride and groom and their guests celebrated and danced into the warm summer night in the huge marquee.
